If the Governor of Oregon, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, or the President of the United States declares a state of disaster or emergency in your geographic area, you are still entitled to care from your plan. Summit Health Medicare Advantage plans will allow you to get care from out-of-network providers at the in-network cost-sharing during a disaster.
If your Summit Health Medicare Advantage plan has Part D prescription drug coverage, and if you cannot use a network pharmacy during a disaster, you can fill your prescription drugs at an out-of-network pharmacy.

In response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, coupled with excessive heat and wildfire events within our service area, Summit Health Plan, Inc. has enacted a mid-year benefit change through December 31, 2021, to provide coverage for one of the following health-related services for our chronically ill members who meet certain criteria:

Customer Service is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week from October 1 through March 31 with the exception of Christmas and Thanksgiving Day. (After March 31, your call will be handled by our automated phone systems Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.)
Customer Service also has free language interpreter services available for non-English speakers.
